We have participated and engaged as the PR and Events Manager to execute an important mission- to promote cultural exchanges between Hong Kong and Taiwan, and pass down the lost craftsmanship. Yan Jhen-fa from Tainan is the only person who still produces hand-made film billboards. Being the National Treasure as a Hand-painted Movie Billboard Master, we had the honour to invite Master Yan over to Hong Kong to run a series of events and workshops to demonstrate the beauty of his work. It is an extraordinary occasion as he has never left Taiwan and we have successfully brought him over to witness his magnificent work.
Road Creation has lined up the event where Master Yan has re-created the billboard of Farewell My Concubine and has run several workshops to teach how to draw oil painting on billboards. This is deemed to be a significant event for local and international art exchange.
